Churches announce Vacation Bible Schools


Here is a list of upcoming Vacation Bible Schools for the local area. If your church would like to add an event to this list, email the information to:

Bethany Baptist Church

BONIFAY – Bethany Baptist Church will hold Vacation Bible School from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. June 13, 14, and 15. Supper will be provided at 6 p.m. This year’s theme is “In the Wild,” and children who attend all three nights will be entered into a drawing for a bicycle. Bus pick-up is available by calling Karen at 850-849-3216. Bethany Baptist Church is located at 1404 Highway 79, Bonifay.

Northside Assembly of God

BONIFAY – Northside Assembly of God will hold VBS 2021, “FOCUS”, June 14-17 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The church states, “Join us for food, fun, and faith as we FOCUS in on what really matters.” The church is located 1009 N. Rangeline Street, Bonifay.

Bonifay First United Methodist Church 

BONIFAY - Bonifay First United Methodist Church will host a three-day VBS from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. June 14-16, for children ages K to 5th grade. The theme is “Anchored: Deepening Faith in God” and will feature ocean crafts, music, outdoor games, and daily bible lessons. Located at 202 N. Shiloh Baptist Church

CHIPLEY – Shiloh Baptist Church will host VBS from 8:30 a.m. until noon from Monday, June 14 through Friday, June 18. This year’s theme is “Destination Dig: Unearthing the truth about Jesus”. Eastside Baptist Church

VERNON – Eastside Baptist Church will hold VBS from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, June 14 through Thursday, June 17. This year’s theme is “Kids on a Mission”. Eastside Baptist Church is located at 3385 Roche Ave., Vernon.

Northside Baptist Church

PONCE DE LEON – Northside Baptist Church will be hold VBS for boys and girls ages Pre-K to 12 years old this Summer starting on Monday, June 14 and through Friday, June 18. First Baptist Chipley

CHIPLEY – First Baptist Chipley will present a VBS with the theme “Destination Dig from 8 a.m. to noon, Monday, June 21 through Friday, June 25, for ages 3 to 6th grade. To register check out the “Events” section at

At Destination Dig, kids will unearth more than just dirt. They’ll discover real-life archaeological finds that have helped to uncover the truth about Jesus. Stories from the Bible will leap off the pages as kids explore where Jesus walked and examine artifacts that bring the world of the Bible to life. As junior archaeologists, kids will study tangible pieces of the past to learn the truth about who Jesus is and why He came. Along the way they’ll discover the truth of Jeremiah 29:13 that God reveals Himself to us when we seek and search for Him with all our hearts.

West Pittman Baptist Church

WESTVILLE ¬– West Pittman Baptist Church will present a VBS program titled, “Kingdom Kids: Seeking God’s Kingdom and His Righteousness” for ages Pre-K through 5th grade from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., Monday, June 21 through Friday, June 25. West Pittman Baptist Church is located at 1603 Bradley Rd., Westville.

Camp Sonrise

VERNON– Camp Sonrise will present Mega Sports Camp VBS from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday, July 12 through Friday, July 16. Sign your child up for this camp for a week of fun, food, Bible lessons, and games. This year’s theme, FUNdamentals, is for children in Kindergarten through entering 5th grade.
