CHIPLEY - Located on the west side of the Washington County Library’s Chipley branch, a portal to the realm of The Three Little Pigs, awaits.
Washington County library staff have picked up and recycled abandoned and/or forgotten election signs, turning what was once an eyesore into a fun summertime activity.
The signs were covered with donated prints from the Florida Department of Health's Grants Department and placed along the sidewalk to create a “story walk” so that visitors can read a story while they stroll.
Library Director Renae Rountree says for those with little ones, this is a fun activity for families to enjoy together.
The walk will be available throughout the entire summer. For more information, contact the Washington County Library’s Chipley branch at 850-638-1314.
