The Washington County School Board recently swore in its newly elected members and reorganized the board with the election of a new chair and vice-chair.
Cindy Johnson Brown, Cheryl Ann Williams and Will “Tonka” Taylor each took the oath of office, and family and friends looked on.
After the swearing in ceremony was complete, the board was reorganized with Dr. Lou Cleveland being elected as Board Chairman and Milton Brown being elected as Vice-Chair. The board unanimously approved to keep regular session meetings on the second Monday of the month at 5 p.m.
The Washington County School Board will meet again in regular session at 5 p.m. Dec. 12.
